Donald Joseph Qualls better known by the screen name DJ Qualls was born in the USA. He is a producer, actor and model. In addition to his Road Trip role, he also appeared in The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. The actor has also been featured in over 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order as well as other. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma since he was 14 years old. After two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. But the treatment in such a short time left severe impact on his body. It also slowed the development of his body. After he began performing, financial stability was the goal. He'd experienced the poverty of his youth. He commented, "I've been living so in a state of financial sanity for so long that I'm in need of money security or else the world can seem out of control for me." He thinks back to his childhood, and has an urge to do something against the bullying. DJ says that "Cruelty is a snare to my heart." The perfect DJ role is that of a father in real life. But, he admits that the directors rarely cast him for those types of roles. It would be wonderful to someday be a parent himself, when the time comes when he can devote less time on career and devote it to his child.
